Brake Safety Tips

Brake Tips that you can practice to save money and ensure the safety of you and your family.
  • Regardless of how well you maintain your brakes, they should be most likely replaced every 20,000-30,000 miles. Of course how and where every vehicle is driven will influence when brakes should be replaced.
  • Check your owners manual and ask your ASE certified technician to see what kind of brakes your vehicle use and ask how they are adjusted.
  • Wheels should be pulled and checked once a year by your ASE certified technician. A typical brake inspection should include rotors, calipers, drums, pads, pistons and brake lines.
  • Brake systems should be flushed and the brake fluid should be replaced every other year. Brake fluid absorbs moisture and becomes acidic after every 30,000 miles.
